The Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West has a selection of experiences for everyone to try during the summer months.
The estate is over 300 years old with gardens, historic trees and heritage buildings for visitors to explore. During the summer months at Vergelegen, food and wine lovers can experience one of the three dining options available there.
Café Fleur Restaurant
This French-inspired restaurant overlooks the Lourens River and has ample outdoor seating. The menu has been reworked for the warmer months with meals such as seafood, terrine and roulade available.
Camphor forest picnics
Visitors can experience a white tablecloth picnic for any occasion in the estate's camphor forest. There is an all-inclusive menu that's suitable for vegetarians, vegans and children too.
The family-friendly bistro-styled restaurant hosts mountain views and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This restaurant is located in the Vergelegen gardens.
Please contact Vergelegen directly for more information or to make a reservation for any of the above experiences.
