This summer, Tobago’s Restaurant at Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town is hosting a braai buffet experience every first and last Friday of the month until April 2023. Start your weekend with good vibes, and great sunset views while tucking into perfectly grilled braai fare. The buffet includes braai-inspired starters, mains, and desserts with fresh meat cuts and boerewors from the grills.
The experience kicks off with a welcoming glass of bubbles and self-serve entrees such as slivers of carpaccio, gourmet mushrooms, pickled fish, a build-your-own salad, and other greens. For the barbeque, the resident braai master is on standby to grill your choice of fresh steak, lamb chops, or sausage to your taste.
A selection of hot dishes is also on offer such as roasted chicken, oxtail potjiekos, and sides such as pap, chakalaka, grilled mushrooms and sweetcorn, and potato salad.
Desserts are a feast of the eyes and presented in dainty forms of patisserie such as eclairs, beetroot cheesecake, pampoenkoekies for some local favour, and a cheese platter among others.
Live entertainment from local bands, musicians, or sets from the resident DJ is also on the cards to set the mood.
Kids between 5 and 12 years receive 50% discount, while those under 5 years dine on the house.
