Event information
Svutusove is a five-course drink and ice cream and sorbet conversation, highlighting foraged fynbos and continental plants while introspecting on the displacement of native plant life from both domestic and agricultural space.
Svutosove is a chance to reignite the practice of homemade, healthier alternatives to the ultra-processed commercial standards.
Tapiwa Guzha works across disciplines to inspire conversations about continental history, stories, practices and culture. Whether through food or art, his focus is on contributing to the celebration and growth of continental culture, highlighting difficult pasts and presents and trying to find excitement in the future.
Guzha is best known as the founder of Tapi Tapi, a cultural advocacy space in Observatory that uses ice cream to share knowledge and information about African cultures and cuisines.
Svutusove - A Sip And A Morsel, With Tapiwa Guzha forms part of a series of two Art Café High Tea events at the 16 on Lerotholi Gallery.
