Sphelelo Mazibuko, also known as "Lelo", brings fans a glimpse into his upcoming debut album 'FACES'.
The album is a collection of musical expressions from a musician who has worked as a sideman in a variety of ensembles and genres for over 12 years. In this project, themes of love, peace, healing, political unrest, and Africanism are explored, depicting the various "faces" human beings contend with day-to-day.
This performance features Njabulo Seh and Thando Zide on vocals, Zibusiso Makhathini on piano and keyboard, Dalisu Ndlazi on electric and double bass, Sisonke Xonti on tenor saxophone and bass clarinet, and Mpumi Dhlamini on synths, vocoder, and alto saxophone.
