The Live Music Tour takes guests and music lovers to a different part of Johannesburg every day of the week to experience live music performances ranging from jazz, soul, reggae, kwaito, Afro Pop and more. Guests support talented popular and upcoming artists from all over South Africa as dedicated guides take them to unique spots around the city for great music and a meal.
The tour schedule is jampacked, with a completely different experience being scheduled every day of the week. Tuesday nights kick off at a small venue in Soweto, Chiawelo. Wednesday nights are spent in Jabacu in Soweto, a popular bar with live music sessions that are loved by many of Joburg’s influencers.
Thursdays and Fridays are spent in an intimate hidden venue in Braamfontein that hosts live bands from all over the globe. Saturday nights serve African dishes and local beers in Brixton, with live African contemporary music. A concert at the Cradle of Humankind nature reserve is on Sunday morning’s itinerary.
