Joburg Theatre presents a special commemorative concert to mark the 30th Anniversary of Democracy in South Africa - Songs of Freedom.
This once-off production includes a 50-piece orchestra with an 80 voices strong mass choir comprising the Veni Cantare Choir and the Johannesburg Choristers Choir. The headlining soloist is the world-renowned South African operatic soprano Pumeza Matshikiza conducted by maestro Kutlwano Masote.
This poignant production will trace the story of South Africa through song presenting a tapestry of beauty and reflection.
