The South African Bone Marrow Registry hosts a special Christmas-themed open-air movie night to raise funds for their Patient Assistance Programme.
The South African Bone Marrow Registry is an accredited member of the World Marrow Donor Association, the SABMR is dedicated to helping patients with leukaemia, other blood diseases, and immune disorders who are unable to cover donor-related costs.
The movie night features a screening of the popular festive film The Polar Express at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on 20 December.
Guests can also enjoy a Christmas carols sing-along with Richard Gauld and the band, and kids can be entertained with lawn games before the film.
Food vendors are available throughout the evening and guests are welcome to bring a picnic basket as well. No chairs or umbrellas are allowed to be brought in, but special chairs can be rented at the event.
Early bird tickets are available until 25 November - R80 per adult, R150 per couple and R50 for children under 12 years old. Full-price tickets cost R120 per adult, R200 per couple and R80 for children under 12 years old.
