A concert of premières of works by composition student of the University of Cape Town, Eden Macfarlane-Jones, UCT composition lecturers Prof Martin Watt's String Quartet No. 2 and Prof Bongani Ndodana-Breen's Impepho for String Quartet, as well as works by South African composer Monthati Masebe's work titled Nomadic Nirvana. All these String Quartets will be performed by the SACM student Kirby Quartet with Nicholas Bruiners (violin), Kaitlin Visser (violin), Micaela Arries (viola) and Seul Pearl Jung (cello).
