The Pot Luck Club, one of the city's most renowned restaurants, offers a Sunday brunch experience featuring a decadent multi-course menu, Bottomless Bubbles, and their top-notch Bloody Mary.
To kick off the Sunday brunch, there is West Coast oysters, freshly shucked to start the day. Oysters lead various snack-sized courses packed with flavours to awaken the palate. Tuck into buttery brioche with quail egg, porcini hollandaise, and mushroom duxelles, a lavish English muffin with lobster, kohlrabi, peas, and cauliflower, and the comforting yet vibrant flavours of a curry lamb shank taco with parsnip cream and mint salsa.
Following hot on the heels of the Snacks is a classic ‘Arnold Bennett’ open omelette redolent with smoked haddock. The ‘Salad’ course offers a palate-breather.
The heartier main course makes duck the star of the meal, served family-style at the table and plated with an array of sides; from beetroot tarte tatin to roast vegetables.
Brunch ends with a pre-dessert of baked goodies from the pastry kitchen before a light, often fruity dessert to cleanse the palate.
The rates are all-inclusive and cover the full 10-course menu, bottomless bubbly (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and the DIY Bloody Mary Station.
