Event information
In celebrating the legacy of Nicolene Swanepoel (1962–2016), Koring Villa presents a ceramic art exhibition of animals in aid of animal welfare.
The exhibition seeks to honour and preserve her legacy while championing the critical cause of animal welfare, a cause she supported throughout her life. Whilst a more extensive retrospective is planned for 2025, this intimate exhibition showcases a curated selection of ceramic works discovered in Nicolene's studio after her passing.
This marks the first solo exhibition of her work since her death, held in Koringberg, a serene setting that reflects the spirit of her work. This is not just a rare opportunity to acquire one of Nicolene Swanepoel’s masterpieces, but also to support a cause very dear to her heart.
A portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to support Ek n Jy NPC's Animal Outreach Fund: www.eknjy.co.za. The exhibition is also open to the public for free on November 9 and 10.
