Nomadic Orchestra is kicking off spring at Café Roux.
This is a Sunday Funday event, making it family-friendly. The band plays brass and dance music and originates from the South African College of Music (UCT) in Cape Town. They are deeply passionate about music performance and composition.
Their music draws inspiration from various styles, like hip hop, afrobeat, ghoema, samba, ska, klezmer, and more, resulting in a cohesive, high-energy performance. The Nomadic Orchestra's main aim is to get the audience moving. Their music is infectious and guaranteed to get feet tapping and limbs swaying.
With three full-length studio albums and a track record of successful tours, festivals, and events, the band is dedicated to creating top-quality original music for everyone to enjoy.
