This social series is dedicated to celebrating sustainability and the rich heritage of indigenous African ingredients through innovative culinary experiences.
Each event in the series focuses on a specific ingredient, with this third edition shining a spotlight on Rooibos. A special harvest table has also been curated for the event by talented chefs Athi, and Asi Ndams.
These gatherings aim to inform and stoke meaningful discussions about the significance of using locally sourced, traditional ingredients. Through a carefully curated multi-course menu, the chefs tell the story of each ingredient, blending traditional and contemporary techniques to create memorable dishes.
The goal is to foster a deeper appreciation for African cuisine, promote sustainable practices, and bring people together over shared meals and stories.
The event theme is 'Shades of Burnt Orange'.
