Salon 104 presents an exclusive affordable paper show, ‘Le papier,' during the last two weekends of May 2024. ‘Le papier’ (meaning the paper in French), tells of the French origin of Salon 104 and is one of the most basic surfaces that artists have used for centuries.
12 artists exhibit unframed A4 paperwork in an intimate exhibition space. All work will be available at R1 800 a piece, of which R300 per sale will be donated to Salon 104’s chosen charity fund, Imbali Western Cape. Participating artists include Louise Curtis, Paula Dubois, Alexandra Fraser, Nina Holmes, Jeanne Human, Caryn McArthy, Joanna Lee Miller, Jenny Parsons, Liesel Trautman, Theo Van Der Merwe, Michelle van Reenen, and Karen Wykerd.
Please note that art works are sold on a first come, first served basis and that buyers will be able to take their purchased artwork home with them on confirmation of payment. Entry tickets are limited to 30 viewers per day over the 6 days.
