Historical and modern vehicles meet for a day of epic races and vehicle parades at Killarney with Passion for Speed as International Historic Grand Prix Cars from the 1960s, vintage muscle-cars, motorcycles and Sports and GT cars meet the tracks. The event celebrates and brings together the golden age of racing with the modern age.
Families come together to appreciate the history of motorsport from a modern perspective, and enjoy as superior vehicles race against one another. There are no less than 16 international entries for the Historic Grand Prix Cars Association races, eight of which have their own unique South African connections and rich histories that attendees can appreciate.
The are also vintage Sports and GT vehicles entered for the 45-minute SATT race, whilst various sprint races are open to older Classic Cars, Fine Cars, and Supercars, along with more modern Sports and GT cars and Superbikes. This collection of vintage and new vehicles all get the opportunity to show what they are made of on the racetrack, whilst the more valuable classics are paraded for attendees to revel at.
