Johnson's Jukebox is a celebration of artists who have inspired the multi-award-winning performer, Godfrey Johnson, over the years.
The show's twist is that the audience is provided with a menu of song titles, poetry titles and characters from which they can choose what they want to see and hear. The menu includes classics from Mozart to Cole Porter, Jacques Brel to Leonard Cohen, to Madonna, Prince and a whole lot more.
No backing tracks and no scores - Just a piano, a madman and his obsession with classical music and 80's pop.
In his long and varied career Johnson has been nominated for 7 Fleur du Cap awards in various categories, including; best actor in a musical, best composer and best performance in a one person show.
