The Grammy-nominated global sensation, INALA, is showing at the Joburg Theatre for two nights only.
This special event marks the global relaunch of INALA—a red-carpet, Gala evening where a globally acclaimed South African show performs for the first time in its country of birth ahead of its permanent West End residency at House of Sisters Grimm in London.
The musical premiered in 2014, and with a reach of 200+ million, has played to Royalty and captivated international audiences, receiving standing ovations and critical acclaim at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Hampton Court Palace, and Singapore Marina Bay Sands.
The evening honours the country’s rich musical heritage through the powerful harmonies of Zulu song, paired with vivid art and fine wine from South Africa, capturing the landscapes and spirit of the nation.
With music co-written by Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Ella Spira MBE, the performance is woven together by narration from Ndaba Mandela and choreography by Mark Baldwin OBE.
