German bassist Martin Zenker frequently travels between Mongolia, Munich, Rio de Janeiro and Stellenbosch.
In this concert, he features musicians from Germany and South Africa, who are part of a new exciting exchange program between the Stellenbosch University Department of Music and the Munich Academy for Music.
Experience highly energetic jazz, rooted in two cultures with a personal note to it. Featuring from SA - Ramon Alexander (piano), Sima Mashazi (vocals), Nathaniel Gates (trombone), Annemie Nel and from Germany Zenker, Pascal Haas (drums) and Andreas Kissenbeck (piano).
