An exhilarating journey through five iconic Grande Provence Wine Estate wines alongside an expertly crafted four-course dinner.
Focussing on Grande Provence’s award-winning wines, the event starts with the wine estate's Sauvignon Blanc, which captures the full tropical fruit spectrum with a long lingering finish on the palate. As the evening unfolds, guests are introduced not only to the Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay but also their very first Merlot, crafted from high-lying vineyards in the famous ‘golden triangle’ of the Helderberg region, renowned for producing some of Stellenbosch’s finest reds.
The showstopper of the evening is the Grande Provence Shiraz. This 2019 Michelangelo Gold Medal medium-bodied red is perfectly complemented by an irresistible toffee sago crème brûlée, boasting hints of toffee, vanilla, liquorice, mulled spice, and pencil shavings.
