Visit the Iziko Museum for a fun morning learning about insects—some exquisite, like the brightly coloured jewel beetles and butterflies, and some just plain creepy and ugly. Guests can see millions of insects in the Iziko collection, each meticulously labelled.
Dr Simon van Noort, curator of entomology at the Iziko Museum, is leading the tour of this collection, which contains over one million pinned insect specimens and is one of the oldest collections on the African continent.
