The gallery also has a fully equipped framing workshop where everything and anything gets framed with flair. They offer a wide variety of frames and styles and are devoted to every piece they frame. They gladly accept creative challenges and therefore custom works are the norm, not the exception. They are proud to have framed valuable collector’s pieces, such as Irma Stern, Pierneef, Tretchikoff, Hugo Naude and William Kentridge. Being specialists in conservation framing, they have been the Polokwane Art Museum’s preferred framers for close on 20 years.
The gallery houses original and handmade décor, with preference to ceramics, glass and wood; framed and unframed prints; already made and available to order mirrors; plus, ready-made frames. Local artists are also given the opportunity to display their work, as well as artists from Zimbabwe.
