Born in Cape Town, Muneeb Hermans began his musical journey within the Cape Minstrel fraternity before pursuing a formal education in Jazz Performance at the University of Cape Town. Since then, he has become a prominent figure in Cape Town's jazz scene, captivating audiences with his soulful trumpet melodies.
His talent has taken him to stages worldwide, and he has become a regular at the most prominent annual jazz festivals in South Africa. Leader of the Muneeb Hermans Quintet, he has solidified himself as one of the leading artists in the South African jazz scene today.
