Franschhoek Wine Valley Presents the inaugural Cap Classique Safari, a weekend that pays tribute to all things Cap Classique wines, perfectly coinciding with the beginning of spring and international Cap Classique day.
The Cap Classique Safari weekend is a new event offering visitors the opportunity to indulge in the finest Cap Classiques of the region.
Transportation is provided within designated pods, each carefully curated to showcase a selection of renowned wineries:
Pod 1: Guests will visit Haute Cabriére, Black Elephant Vintners, Le Lude, La Bri, Wildeberg and Stony Brook.
Pod 2: This pod features Franschhoek Cellar, Grande Provence, Leopard's Leap, La Motte and Rickety Bridge.
Pod 3: The third pod includes Dieu Donné, Klein Goederust, Boschendal, Allée Bleue and Anthonij Rupert Wyne.
Each pod offers a unique tasting experience, and a sumptuous lunch at select venues, including Haute Cabriere, Leopards Leap and Anthonij Rupert Wyne.
Visitors to the valley are encouraged to prolong the spoils with a mystery weekend stay, conveniently set over the same dates. The all-inclusive Cap Classique Safari Mystery Weekend includes luxurious accommodation, wines, gourmet cuisine and bespoke experiences.
Cap Classique Safari: Includes visits to 5 Franschhoek Cap Classique producers, lunch at R350 per person, complimentary wine-tasting on arrival, x2 bubbly tastings at each farm and transport within the pod (hop on hop off)
Cap Classique Safari Mystery Weekend: Includes 2 nights of accommodation per couple, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Friday and Saturday, and the Franschhoek Cap Classique Safari on Saturday (which includes lunch).
