The Candlelight Flute Concert is an enchanting candlelight solo performance by Louisa Theart at the Museum of Dogs.
Louisa holds an MMUS from the Royal College of Music (2012) which she obtained after completing her BMus Hons at UCT (2010). She has also played as guest principal with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra and the Free State Symphony Orchestra.
She has performed at many of South Africa’s Music and Arts Festivals as a member of several chamber music groups, and as a keen performer of new music, she has commissioned a number of notable new works from South African composers through the SAMRO Foundation.
This intimate 30-minute concert offers a unique blend of music and atmosphere, set within the captivating surroundings of the museum. Each ticket includes entrance to the museum and a complimentary glass of wine to enhance the evening. The museum is open from 6pm to explore prior to the performance.
