The National Children's Theatre in collaboration with the Pretoria Youth Theatre present Aladdin and the 4Tea Thieves.
With Lyrics and music composed by Ryan Graaf and Jess Robus and Musical Director Virtuous Kandemiiri the play transports the audience to the magical city of Baghdad where the story begins.
The traditional story of Aladdin with extra twists showcases a magic cave where he encounters the 40 thieves. Aladdin meets the genie who helps him marry the beautiful princess of his dreams, but not without the thwarts of his evil uncle. The show leaves audiences singing along.
The show features Bernard Webster as Aladdin. Jaden Coetzee as Evil Uncle Abanazer and Lisa Jardim and Kendra Coetzee as the beautiful Jasmine.
