This Easter Friday, Galileo has a treat for the whole family: a screening of the Beatrix Potter classic, Peter Rabbit. Hopping over to Central Park, Century City, this adorable animated movie is the perfect solution for your Easter holiday plans with the kids. And this is no ordinary screening event – there’s a whole range of special activities for the occasion. Presented in partnership with Nedbank Private Wealth, the evening has been carefully curated with amazing food and plenty to do and see for all ages.
Kids Easter Activities
This year, the open-air movie experience gets a few added spoils, with a special visit from the Easter bunny and a little excuse for a chocolate overload. Children can look forward to colouring in competitions, face painting, games and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny, setting the scene for the movie magic to follow.
Lip-Smacking Snacks
Good Friday is a bit on an excuse to spoil yourself… Central Park Century City offers The Clubhouse and numerous foodstalls, with gourmet goodness for kids and adults alike. Pizza, burgers, wraps, vegetarian and Halal food will be available, while plenty of cooldrinks, popcorn and other snacks are on offer too. Adults will be able to choose from a wide range of alchoholic and non-alchoholic drinks, and superb coffee will also be for sale to keep adults buzzing.
Easter Friday: Peter Rabbit Movie
As the sun sets on Good Friday, Peter Rabbit comes to life on the Galileo’s huge screen. The movie stars a mischievous bunny who can’t resist his pick of the yummiest vegetables in Mr. McGregor’s garden. Peter embarks on daring veggie raids with his fluffy friends in tow, leading to hilarious chases and close calls with Mr. McGregor’s rakes and traps.
Packed with laughter and heart-warming moments, it guarantees the youngest family members a memorable evening. Cuddle up close and create life-long family memories!
NOTE: Guests may bring their own picnics, but no alcohol may be brought into the venue.
