Once a year the DSK Bazaar in Tamboerksloof transforms the German International School Cape Town (DSK) into a festive summer hub of authentic German food, beer and unique activities for both young and old alike.
This year, the family-friendly event in Cape Town runs from 3 to 4 November and kicks off with a ‘Bavarian Sundowner’ themed afternoon. Guests can get the weekend started with live background music while enjoying German specialities like Bratwurst straight off the grill, Weissbier and much more.
Fun rides, street food, and vibey music at DSK Bazaar
The very popular DSK Bazaar is bringing colour and excitement on a grand scale for the Saturday, 4 November lineup of fabulous things to do for the whole family.
A host of exciting activities and rides can be tried by the little ones at the FUN PARK such as a sweeper obstacle, rocket launcher, bumper cars, carousel, football, bull riding, bow and arrow challenges, face painting and a petting zoo, to name just a few.
For teens and older kids, the YOUTH PARK at DSK Bazaar features a pool disco with various DJs at the school’s outdoor swimming pool that is set to be a big hit as in the past. Don’t forget to bring along swimming gear for the swim.
This annual fundraiser promises so much more than just a vibey food and beer market. As the afternoon sets in, various South African and German bands take the stage to entertain the crowd. A band from Germany will be the annual headline act and set the mood for an extremely jovial atmosphere.
